From June 10 to June 13, 2008, Red Lion participated in the 12th International Exhibition of Modern Factory/Process Automation Technology and Equipment in the China International Exhibition Center, Beijing. CAMETA is the expo organizer, which has held the exhibition successfully for all 12 years.

Red Lion showcased HMIs, panel meters and PID controllers to customers and system integrators in all industries. The clients took an active interest in a special contest that chose the winners using the G310 HMI. The prize messages were sent to the winners by text message. The G3's SMS messaging function was very impressive to the participants! Another demonstration was done with a Data Station Plus connected with PLCs to show the Ethernet™ connection and the protocol conversion feature.

The specialty media also paid attention to Red Lion's display at the show. They included Control Engineering magazine, International Mechatronics Technology & Application magazine, GongKong.com, VOGEL, Leadzil Automation's website and many more. Michael Wang, Red Lion regional manager for China and Asia, addressed the news reporters and the photographers that were making a video of the show.
