The new Model LE, Linear Encoder features a 50 inch retractable stainless steel cable, allowing for unusual measuring configurations. With the retractable cable, the LE can be mounted away from harsh environmental conditions and perfect parallel alignment is no longer necessary.

The LE is available with a 50 or 500 pulse per inch quadrature output, allowing the sensor to operate in positioning applications. Common uses would include robotics, extrusion presses, valve positioning, textile machinery, and gate control positioning.
