Red Lion proudly announces the release of a new model G3 operator interface panel. The model G306 touchscreen panel features a 5.7" Ultra-STN passive matrix 256 color QVGA 320 x 240 pixel LCD display and a five button keypad for on-screen menus.

As with all G3 panels, the G306 arrives standard with an Ethernet port, USB connection, support for up to five high-speed serial ports, integrated protocol converter, build in webserver, standard CompactFlash socket and one-click, MS-Excel compatible, data logging activation. G3 HMIs also feature popular and innovative options such as GPS positioning and tracking, and modem support that allows alarm notification via email and SMS text messages as well as through-programming of PLC's and other devices.

The standard integrated protocol converter allows a G3 HMI to function as the center-point of data gathering from various devices, each communicating with their own protocol. The G3 converts these into one language and can relay all data to a remote location, making the G3 your perfect tool for collecting and moving data.

G3 HMIs are programmed using free, download-able Crimson 2 software. This feature-packed, user-friendly software package supports Russian, Thai, Korean, Chinese and any other languages supported by the Unicode character set. Adjusting the panel's operator language to meet your requirements is literally a touch of a button away, allowing OEMs to use a single database when targeting multiple geographic markets. You can build your panel and at time of shipment, customize the display to the language needed for the customer. Crimson 2 also features an extensive symbol library providing a selection of over 4000 industrial and manufacturing images, including push buttons, tanks, motors and machinery plus over 60 other categories! With just a click of your mouse, you can add professional quality graphics to your G3 display pages.
