Transfer and update using FTP server connectivity!

Transfer and update using FTP server connectivity!

Red Lion Controls releases FTP server support for its range of G3 HMI, Modular Controller Enhanced Masters and Data Station Plus Series. This new feature provides FTP access to the CompactFlash card installed in the unit allowing file download and upload directly from Windows® Explorer or any FTP client software.

Red Lion devices currently work as FTP clients, thus connecting and synchronizing the CompactFlash content with a server automatically or on-demand. The new FTP server support acts in the opposite way. The Red Lion device can now act as a server where an external client connects to the unit and accesses information on the CompactFlash card.

Users are now able to download data logs, event logs and report files from their PC. Alternatively, users can upload their recipes or latest custom web site updates via Ethernet or modem.
