Red Lion Advanced Training In-house Agenda
Overview of course:
Our day and a half Advanced Training Workshop is a great opportunity to learn the more in depth features of Red Lion products. This class is all about expanding your knowledge of Red Lion Control’s products and software through hands-on activities and application examples. After returning home from this class you will have an elevated understanding of what Red Lion has to offer and the tools necessary to successfully become an integral part of the Red Lion sales force.
Who should attend:
Previous experience with Red Lion products and a strong familiarity with Red Lion's Crimson software is necessary. You should be comfortable with the different variations of data tags, the different system functions available for use in the user programs section, and different properties associated with primitives and symbols.
What you should bring:
You should have a laptop computer, a mouse, and the latest version of Crimson 3.
What you will learn:
Day 1: Create a Demo Database Using Recipe Files and the Cellular Modem Card
- Map tags to different objects to establish a base for complex animation
- Design a program to take apart a CSV file and map the information to Recipe tags in the database
- Setup and explanation of the different cellular modem card properties
- Design a program to respond to alerts in the system via text message
- Design a final program to animate the database and have a functional demo
Day 2: Widget and PID Hands on Demo
- Setup a modular controller database with a PID module
- Map the necessary data from the PID module to allow for manual and auto control
- Setup a basic widget to understand the properties
- Setup an advanced widget using mapped data from the modular controller
- Use on screen widget to control light bulb demo
