York, Pa. – November 17, 2015 – Red Lion Controls, global experts in communication, monitoring and control for industrial automation and networking, today announced new executive appointments that include Steve Drake as Vice President of Human Resources (HR) and John Posenau as Vice President of Information Strategy. Both executives will play key roles on Red Lion’s leadership team, reporting directly to President Mike Granby.

Steve Drake brings extensive senior-level HR experience with several manufacturing companies to Red Lion. Having started his career in manufacturing and production roles before moving into HR, his background includes positions at Kraft, Rayovac, M&M Mars, New World Pasta and most recently at Cargill, where he was Business Unit HR Leader with full responsibility for the HR function. Steve holds a B.A. of Business Administration in Management and Marketing. He is currently working on a M.S. in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
John Posenau has more than 25 years of experience in implementing and directing large-scale technology operations for higher education, research, non-profit and commercial enterprises. He joins Red Lion from Johns Hopkins University, where he served as Director for the Business Services Division of Development and Alumni Relations. Prior to Johns Hopkins, Posenau was General Manager and Regional CIO for SunGuard Higher Education Managed Services, where he oversaw technology operations for several colleges and universities. He has also served in IT positions at NeighborCare, Inc., the NAACP and York College of Pennsylvania. Posenau holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Christopher Newport University and a M.S. in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary.
