Red Lion® data management products now support BACnet communication. With the addition of this protocol, the G3 HMI, Modular Controller and Data Station Plus series provide unprecedented connectivity for building automation applications.

With the powerful protocol conversion facility embedded in all units, combined with the standard offering of three serial ports and a multiple-protocol Ethernet port, users can now realize complete system integration and data transfer from any industrial protocols to and from BACnet. The protocols supported are BACnet MS/TP, BACnet 802.3 and BACnet UDP/IP in master and slave mode.

The Web Server feature embedded in Red Lion's data management products allows remote viewing and control of your application from anywhere in the world, giving access to BACnet information for troubleshooting or monitoring purposes. The G3, Modular Controller and Data Station Plus also come with an integrated IT-Ready data logger and alarm management system, supporting e-mail and text messaging for critical or unmanned applications.
